Le Puy des Ages

At an altitude of 413 m, it is a high point of the Green Perigord. A quartzite massif, crossed by numerous quartz veins, it is covered with heather, contrasting with the meadows and woods of the surrounding plateaus. The white quartz path bordered on both sides by heather invites the hiker to continue his way towards the valley.
Near the orientation table, the view is magical. The silence is marvellous, which allows us to listen to the lark or the field pipit. We can observe the flight of the harrier Saint-Martin or the passage of the goshawks
Be careful, the balance of this site remains fragile, it is necessary to respect the flora and fauna.
It is necessary to take time to observe and to listen...
