The exhibition presents textile designer Lou Leygnac?s research into the transformation of wool from sheep at the Bergerie de Lanouaille. Carried out over a full year, this research documents all the stages in the transformation of the material, from shearing to washing, carding and sampling.
At the same time, plant dyeing work is carried out throughout the year, using dye plants collected in the area. This monthly protocol culminates in the creation of a color chart, conceived as a chromatic transcription of the local landscape...
