Journées européennes du Patrimoine - Exposition : La Gare architectes & Diane Latinis

Nestled in the heart of Excideuil, La Gare architectes has been in business since 1996.
Step by step, it has carved out a place for itself in the heritage restoration sector. Restorations include emblematic buildings from the Périgord, Corrèze and other regions.
These remarkable architectural structures require the use of traditional techniques, where time is of the essence, far from the industrialization of materials and techniques.
To highlight these buildings and their restoration, La Gare architectes and Excit??il invited a young photography student to explore the agency?s projects.
Through the medium of photography, Diane Latinis takes a fresh look at these traditional and singular architectures, and the material, historical and technical challenges involved in restoring them.
