From iron to straw ... This is the story of the Papeterie de Vaux, created in 1861 on the site of two old forges to produce rye straw paper. 5 km from Payzac, at the bend of a small road in the Périgord Vert, the large chimney of the blast furnace appears. You arrived at the Papeterie museum. Discover this Historic Monument, the last factory in France to present an intact paper manufacturing line, witness to the industrial era of the last century.
You can create your own paper during the workshops in the museum.
