La Loue, l'Auvézère, l'Isle, le Blâme... our rivers are turbulent, calm, wide, narrow - in short, they have very varied landscape aspects, but with one common point, they are very rich in fish! Whether you are a seasoned fisherman or a beginner, rather trout or rather barbeau, you will find your spot!
There are three no-kill courses in the area, the release of fish is mandatory:
- In Saint Mesmin on the Auvézère, from the Saut Ruban waterfall to the bridge of the mill of Saint Mesmin.
- In Lanouaille on the Haute-Loue, at the Moulin du Bac, upstream of the bridge of the D704 departmental road for 1km.
- At Excideuil o the Loue (river of 1st category), from the waterfall of the moulin de la Baysse to the confluence of the bief coming from the mill.
